April Fools Event 2024
2024 April Fools Event was a limited-time event in Pressure. It was released from April 17th, 2024 and ended on April 25th, 2024.
Overview
2024 April Fools Event added a new challenge called Evil Mode and a new monster called The Educator.
Evil Mode
Evil Mode could be triggered from the Evil Button, located at the Submarine Dock at the start. It was located near the first Keycard and locked behind a door, requiring a Code Breacher to be opened.
Once pressed, nearly all lights inside the Hadal Blacksite will be off. The Educator will be spawned, chasing players for the entire run.
Changes
- Almost all lights in the Hadal Blacksite will be off.
- The Educator will spawn.
- The Trenchbleeder section will not appear.
- Pandemonium's minigame is extended and more difficult.
- Pandemonium is also guaranteed to spawn in a run, if haven't already.
- Eyefestation will always spawn in it's enraged state.
- Angler's spawn rate is increased, along with the possibility to spawn with Eyefestation and Pandemonium.
- Lockers infested with Puddles of Void-Mass glow red instead of purple, also deal faster damage in a multiplayer run.
- Sebastian Solace will prevent you from entering his shop.
The Schoolhouse
The Schoolhouse is guaranteed to spawn in a run during Evil Mode, replacing Grand Encounters.
The Schoolhouse requires players to find a certain amount of notebooks before being able to progress through the room. Another schoolhouse is set to appear, with it requiring more notebooks to find, alongside no lights emitted and Angler having a chance to spawn.
Rewards
Beating the event awards players the following:
- Notebook (Unlocked in Pre-Round Shop for 125
Kroner). - Splorglight (Unlocked alongside Notebook).
- Grade A Student and Not Very Studious achievements.
- The Educator's document, although you would not be able to keep this document when the game fully released.
