Z-566-1, codenamed Candlebrute are rare monsters in Pressure, acting as a variant of Candlebearers, only found within their own exclusive rooms in the Hadal Blacksite.
Appearance
Candlebrutes appear as a dramatically huge stone statue, representing a larger version of their smaller Candlebearer counterparts. Just like Candlebearers, each of them has a lantern-shaped head with a lit candle inside, which extinguishes once they become active. They have a distinct crack on their outer shell, running from the top of their torso to their left arm and leg.
They can only appear in specific massive rooms dedicated to them and will not appear in regular rooms. These rooms, which are laid out differently for each room type, have been observed spawning in the regular Hadal Blacksite room type, the Heavy Containment room type, and the Oxygen Gardens room type.
Mechanics
Candlebrutes function very similarly to Candlebearers, with some key differences. Light sources only slow them down instead of making them freeze, emergency lights don't freeze/slow them down, they cannot pursue the player through any additional rooms, and they walk faster than Candlebearers do.
They become enraged when a flashlight is shined on them for too long, just like Candlebearers. The maximum time you can safely shine a light on one at once is 5 seconds, with the Candlebrute becoming enraged for 15 seconds afterwards before calming down.
Strategy
To counter the Candlebrutes, it is recommended to shine a light at it, as this slows it down (but doesn't fully stop it like its smaller counterparts). In order to obtain or scan the keycard required to leave the room, it is advised to bait its punch and then search for or scan the keycard, as the Candlebrute takes some time to recover from the punch.
Notes
- Candlebrutes cannot leave the room they start in, even if the next room is dark. If all players leave the room, the Candlebrute will stop moving.
- The Splorglight and Blacklight do not affect Candlebrutes and will not slow them down, due to their unique property of not having effects on any entities, such as not irritating Squiddles. This behavior matches with how they affect Candlebearers as well.
- Candlebrutes will always spawn in large cargo holds that require a keycard to progress. They cannot spawn in regular-sized rooms.
- Candlebrutes will always attack the player, regardless if they have a light source or not.
- Surviving a room with a Candlebrute will award you with the "Treasure Map To Infinite Bloxy Cola" achievement.
Lore
Along with the Candlebearers, the 3 Candlebrutes found were taken from The Raveyard and moved into The Hadal Blacksite for study. Unlike their smaller counterparts, the Candlebrutes are more aggressive and are minimally affected by artificial light. They are kept in storage with the hopes of Urbanshade being able to send them into battle

Trivia
- Candlebrutes are 35 studs tall, towering over their 16 stud tall Candlebearer counterparts.
- This means they are 2.1875 times taller than Candlebearers.
- Due to a potential oversight, Candlebrutes will attack ghosts when in range. They will not chase ghosts, however.
