Line 27:
* Occasionally, Eyefestation will try to telepathically communicate using HQ's voice to trick players into looking at it.
* Using a Flash Beacon on Eyefestation will enrage it, turning red, and causing its pull to be stronger and its damage to be faster.
** Using a Flash Beacon on it again will outrage it, turning blue, and causing its pull to be even stronger and its damage to be even faster.
* Eyefestation spawns after the door to the room it is in is opened, and will despawn after the next room’s door is opened.
* Eyefestation cannot spawn in rooms where there are sea mines outside the window.

The Ridge
<!-- If a monster has no special behavior in the ridge, remove this header. -->
The Ridge
Eyefestation's behavior and mechanics do not deviate while in the ridge, appearing in large rooms with windows; however, due to the constant flickering light present in the Ridge, as well as potentially distracting players with its communication, an Eyefestation encounter in the ridge may leave players more vulnerable to an Angler or Pandemonium encounter.

The Gauntlet
Occasionally, the player may walk into a room and hear the door shut behind them. When this happens, they have entered The Gauntlet. The door to the next room has been locked by Z-779, and the player must survive an enraged Eyefestation until the door unlocks. The player will hear a ticking sound and the navi-path of the next door becomes orange. While there may be lockers present in the room, hiding in them will pause the timer. Once the timer is finished, the door will unlock, the ticking sound stops and the player can proceed.
