D-227, codenamed "Redeemer", is an item in Pressure that causes a monster to appear, acting as a rare encounter in the Hadal Blacksite.
Appearance
Redeemer, inhabited by the Hanger, resembles a traditional revolver. It's decorated with golden engravings in a unique pattern.
Hanger, the demon that manifests from Redeemer. Appears as a silhouetted humanoid with glowing red eyes, with a torso embed with various sharp objects. She is notably devoid of a lack of legs, as she floats from the ground. She hangs by a chain, tied around her neck, with her hair tied into two ponytails. She wields a combat knife in her right hand.
Mechanics
Redeemer has a chance of spawning in any drawer, including those within the Submarine Dock, checkpoints, and The Ridge.
If a player picks up Redeemer, a minigame will instantly begin. Their camera will quickly pan towards Hanger, who begins to slowly float towards the player. Text reading "E - RESIST HER INFLUENCE" will appear on the lower half of the screen, along with a rapidly decreasing bar. The player must repeatedly mash their 'interact' button in order to turn the gun onto Hanger, and shoot her, ending the minigame.
After approximately seven seconds, Hanger will reach the player if they have not shot themselves after the bar empties, or she has not been shot. Hanger will begin to stab the player for 25 health at short intervals, eventually killing the player if the minigame is not completed.
Notes
- In multiplayer runs, Hanger will stab any other player who approaches her during the minigame, or shortly after the victim dies.
- If the "Reduce Suicide Visualizations" setting is enabled (which it is by default), the gun will not appear during her mini game and no gunshot sound will play.
- A specific rare room in reference to the Decaying Winter Collab Announcement video, will always have a guaranteed Redeemer spawn.[1]
Strategy
The easiest way to avoid Redeemer is to be careful when opening drawers, as rapidly mashing the interact button can lead to an accidental initiation of the minigame. If the minigame is started, the only way to survive is to mash the interact button as quickly as possible.
Lore
D-227 was originally found in an antique store, after a customer who wanted to buy the object (unaware of its anomalous properties), picked up the gun and shot himself. After the incident, an investigation was conducted by the police. During this, a forensic investigator picked up the gun, summoned the demon, and managed to kill it, which alerted Urbanshade to its existence. After the investigation concluded, Urbanshade retrieved the gun under the guise of a fabricated news story, which went without complications.
D-227 has since then been allocated to be used in individual contractual assassinations, or if the victim is successful in shooting the demon, persuaded into signing a private security contract with Urbanshade.

Trivia
- Redeemer is part of the collaboration with Decaying Winter, along with Perithesene.[1]
- The designations D-227 and D-227-1 are references from the planet Decaying Winter takes place: Eden-227. [4]
- D-227 is the only known anomaly with a D as its designation. This is because the enemy comes from Decaying Winter.
