Buggy Flood

So far this has only happened twice but, sometimes when I go in underwater lockers it will randomly kick me out just as I get in? The worst part is that I can't turn my head to get back in and I know it isn't Cleithrophobia, and I know this because I would see the heartbeat. Does anyone know why this happens? It seems like the flooded rooms are pretty buggy... In a side room underwater if you go too far into a corner, parasites will swarm you... this is the closed off sideroom type. Why does this happen?
