Search Party & Hall of Sacreligous Remains

I recently listened through both Pressure and ULTRAKILL OSTs, and I'm pressure sure that the main piano and guitar(?) melodies in Search Party are based on the main riff in Hall of Sacreligous Remains. However, I'm just going by ear - do we know if NoLongerNull/Ren made any comment about ULTRAKILL's OST having any impact on the Pressure OST, or anything about this song in general?

I think it would be a good add for trivia, but I want to make sure we have a source other than "trust me bro" for this. Mineday (talk) 00:46, 24 August 2024 (UTC)

yeah ultrakill has definitely impacted the pressure soundtrack in some ways. however instead of Hall of Sacreligous Remains im pretty sure Search Party is more alike to War Without Reason. and yeh a trivia would be cool i think Cool Leaf (talk) 13:00, 24 August 2024 (UTC)

Just listened through War Without Reason, and thematically/asthestically speaking yes, you're right, however I think the melody I mentioned is more defined in Hall of Sacreligous Remains as opposed to War Without Reason, with the closest I could find being from 1:20 to 1:36 in a more hamonic role.

If I can't find any evidence of Ren mentioning these songs explicitally as inspiration, then I wouldn't bother too much with the trivia portion. If anything, it would be better for a YouTube video, if we can't find evidence. Mineday (talk) 14:56, 24 August 2024 (UTC)
