Currency is a core mechanic in Pressure, used to buy items in Shops.
Overview
Currency is available in three types: Research, Kroner and Tokens.
Research
Research is a type of currency exchanged for items in Sebastian's Shop. It is obtainable by looting around the Hadal Blacksite. Research can appear as collectible items in item spots with varying values.
Types of Research
- USB - 5 Research
- Document - 10 Research
- 3 USBs - 15 Research
- Folder + 3 USBs - 25 Research
- Blue DNA + USB - 50 Research
- Yellow DNA + Document + 2 USBs - 100 Research
- Red DNA + Purple & White DNA + Document + 3 USBs - 200 Research
- Forbidden Box - 500 Research
Kroner
Kroner are a type of currency used to buy items in the Pre-Round Shop and for purchasing Cosmetics. Kroner can be obtained by progressing through the Hadal Blacksite, with it being rewarded upon death or upon escaping the Blacksite. Kroner can also be obtained through Codes and bought directly with Robux through the Currency Shop in the Submarine Bay.
If the player dies and chooses to revive during a run, all actions that would've counted towards earning Kroner up until that point are forgotten.
Kroner Earnings
Tokens
Ferryman Tokens, or simply Tokens, are a type of currency used to revive after death. Tokens can be bought with Kroner in the Submarine Bay. Tokens can also be acquired through Codes.
Tokens may only be used once in a run to revive, the second revive must be purchased with Robux.
