LR-P

Low Rank Prisoners have almost the same conditions as EXR-P. They are kept in cells until called over for any experiments conducted.

MR-P

Lore

This section is dedicated to Urbanshade's involvement in the lore. Some of these informnation by be incorrect upon release.

Foundation and The Let-Vand Zone

For more information, see: Documents/The Let-Vand Zone

Urbanshade was founded by Mr. Shade in 19?? in order to make profit. In 1961, to the West of Iceland in the Norwegian Sea, a B-class cargo ship had sank into the ocean. The recovery team later found a previously unknown deep trench. Mr. Shade, knowing this information, quickly commanded personells to cover the site, making sure the new information never reach public knowledge. The trench was then dubbed The Let-Vand Zone.

With the Let-Vand Zone secured, Urbanshade founded the Hadal Division and begin construction of the Hadal Blacksite in 1962, with construction finishing in 1974. Due to the Blacksite being located far underwater, no governmental powers are able to manipulate it other than Urbanshade itself. No form of life is present in Let-Vand Zone other than Parasites. A Submarine Bay was built on the surface in the Faroe Islands as a convenient method to get to the Blacksite, also functioning as a supply hub.

Prisoner Diving Gear

For more information, see: Documents/Prisoner Diving Gear

During construction of the Blacksite, personells noticed convicts used for labor would try to escape. To counteract, Urbanshade invented the Prisoner Diving Gear (PDG), a modified standard issue-diving backpack outfitted with a remotely detonated modified shotgun shell that works underwater being pointed directly at the users neck. If a convict tried to escape, a stationed guard or HQ can detonate the PDG, killing the convict immediately. Improved models of the PDG were developed throughout the years.

Trenchbleeders

For more information, see: Documents/Trenchbleeder

To generate more money for Urbanshade, the Trenchbleeder Class Walker was built. It's only mission is to excavate as many resources as possible from the Let-Vand Zone, being natural minerals and oil. The Trenchbleeder was built to fill the role of a mobile oil rig and mining platform, bleeding the trench of all its resources. A total of 4 Trenchbleeders were created, Trenchbleeder Leon, Rosa, Lucy, and River, named after Mr. Shades' family and Urbanshade's history. Once the Let-Vand Zone is empty, all Trenchbleeders will be shut down and dismantled for parts, except for Lucy, who will be switched into freeroam mode.

The DiVine

For more information, see: Documents/The DiVine

In 1979, a logging company contacted Urbanshade after coming across The DiVine in the Amazon Forest, a species of humanoids made out of vines and other plant-based materials. After discovering an estimated 320 quantity of The Divine, Urbanshade operatives brought as many as possible back to the Blacksite. The logging workers were then executed and the area of the forest was burned down, making sure no trace of The DiVine was left. Urbanshade then dubbed the incident as a wild fire to give to the public. The DiVine later became the main supplier of oxygen in the Blacksite, being placed in the Oxygen Gardens.

Sebastian Solace

For more information, see: Documents/Sebastian Solace

In 2013, Urbanshade seized Sebastian Solace a prisoner proved guilty of murdering 9 people, later discovered innocent. Sebastian partook in an experiment in 2015 of merging the DNAs of an anglerfish, a sea snake, a blue whale and an unknown creature. While the experiment worked, giving Sebastian the ability to breathe underwater, it distorted his body into that of a sea snake. During a transport, Sebastian killed the guards transporting him after faking an anaesthesia dosage, taking their high level keycards and releasing every monster he could find, causing a site-wide lockdown.

Blacksite Lockdown

With the lockdown, Mr. Shade instructed everyone in the Blacksite to either escape or hide in bunkers. The "Expendable" protocol was launched, sending Expendable Specialist on a mission to retrieve the crystal at the end of The Ridge. Urbanshade deemed anyone who retrieved the crystal back to HQ would gain freedom, though uncertain. The player is able to come back to life upon every death due to Mr. Lopee finding interest in them, with Sebastian briefing the player about the thing they died to.

Supernatural Involvements

At some point, Urbanshade managed to open a gateway to the Badlands, prompting the "Banlands Expedition", where they shot down and captured the Guardian Angel of the Banlands using the Heavenpiercer, a mobile railgun, leaving it in a heavily injured state. During the encounter, River, an Urbanshade employee, gave his all during the fight. He was later honored by his name being one of the Trenchbleeders. With the angel down, Urbanshade made a deal with the Devil that their employees would specifically be spared from treeification, a process in hell where your soul gets taken turned into a tree. The Devil also carved the pentagram on the eye of the God as desecration, also known as the Moon.

Urbanshade's logo is plastered everywhere around the Hadal Blacksite, including uniforms. This is to ensure that all employees can be branded as sinners and get sent to hell after death. When they die, they can be brought back by The Ferrymen using Ferryman's Quarter Tokens (otherwise known as Revives). However due to the price of Tokens, Urbanshade recruits people for the "Expendable" protocol.

Once an Urbanshade employee retires, they will be given a cup of angel blood, harvested from the Guardian Angel. Drinking it will obliterate every sin the employee ever did from their body, making them go to heaven instead of hell on death.
