Pinkie
Z-283-PINKIE, codenamed "Pinkie" is a monster in Pressure, acting as a rare threat found in the Hadal Blacksite and a variant of The Angler.
Appearance
Pinkie resembles a heavily malformed pink face, with numerous sharp, thin teeth and two pupils in both eye sockets. Its features are distorted, with its open mouth taking up the majority of its face. Pinkie is constantly obscured by a thick dark smoke, obscuring everything aside from its face. Pinkie's face will always be facing the player, regardless of where they view it.
Mechanics
Pinkie has a chance to spawn if the player’s current or previous room has a valid hiding spot. Unlike other node monsters, nearby electronics do not flicker when Pinkie advances. When Pinkie is close enough to the player it will start screeching loudly, signaling for players to hide.
When Pinkie rushes through the room, all players in its line of sight will be instantly killed. Players who hide in time or escape Pinkie's line of sight before it passes through will be safe.
Notes
- After a player spends a set amount of time in a room, there is a chance for Pinkie or any other node monster to spawn. This is called a timer spawn.
- Pinkie has different audio cues compared to Angler with Pinkie's audio cues playing considerably earlier, making it easier to know if Pinkie is attacking.
The Ridge
Pinkie will spawn more frequently in the ridge. Players are forced to rely on sound alone to know when Pinkie is coming. Pinkie's sound cues happen earlier while attacking in the ridge, giving players more time to react.
Strategy
The best way to avoid Pinkie's is to hide before it rushes through the room. Make sure to not hide too early, or you will be forced out of your hiding spot due to cleithrophobia. As Pinkie does not flicker the lights before it passes, it is incredibly crucial to listen closely for any potential attacks
Pinkie uses a raycasting hitbox to create its line of sight, so hiding in places that cover your character completely (including office cubicles, separate hallways, and vents) will work in evading Pinkie.

- Pinkie is a variant of Angler, sharing the same core mechanic. There are multiple other variants of Angler, including Chainsmoker, Froger, and Blitz.
