A-60, codenamed "The Multi-Monster" is a monster in Pressure, acting as a rare threat found in the Hadal Blacksite.

Appearance

The Multi-Monster has the appearance of a gory and heavily distorted grinning face emerging through paper-like tears. It has a set of loose and uneven teeth and a pair of bright glowing eyes. The Multi-Monster is constantly obscured by a ball of crimson smoke, only revealing its face. The Multi-Monster's face will always be facing toward the player, regardless of the angle it is viewed from, The Multi-Monster has several different faces it switches between, hence its name.

Mechanics

The Multi-Monster has a chance to spawn if the player's current or previous room has a valid hiding spot. When the Multi-Monster spawns it will wait a few seconds before warning the player of its arrival through a red message at the bottom of their screen, before quickly advancing through rooms whilst emitting a loud static noise.

When the Multi-Monster rushes through rooms all players found in its line of sight are instantly killed. Players that manage to hide in time or escape its line of sight before it passes through will be safe, after which all surviving players will receive a second message.

Notes

  • The Multi-Monster is extremely fast with little to no warning sounds.
  • The Multi-Monster is incredibly rare.
  • Players only have 3 seconds to react after the Multi-Monster's warning appears.
  • The Multi-Monster only spawns after room 25.[1]
  • When Deaf Mode is enabled, rather than a border, The Multi-Monster will instead cover the player's whole screen with a TV static effect.

Strategy

The Multi-Monster attacks incredibly quickly after the player is warned, so the best way to guarantee survival against the Multi-Monster is to hide as soon as you hear or see its static or see its warning appear on screen. The Multi-Monster can also be avoided by hiding in areas that are either out of its reach or out of its line of sight, as it uses raycasting to detect players.

It is possible for players to notice the Multi-Monster's arrival before it displays a warning, as even when it isn't moving, it plays a quiet static sound that can give away its presence early.
