Pandemonium takes the appearance of a melting, heavily distorted human face, with hundreds of eyes inside of its mouth. Pandemonium’s jaw is warped into a curved shape with numerous distorted, loose teeth. Similar to [[The Angler|Angler]], Pandemonium's face will always be facing the player, regardless of where they view it. |

Z-367, codenamed "Pandemonium" is a monster in Pressure, acting as one of the most dangerous threats found in the Hadal Blacksite.
Appearance
Pandemonium's is a heavily distorted monster that appears to be in a constant state of melting. Pandemonium does not take on the appearance of any recognizable creature or figure on Earth and is best described as a "brown husk." Its "mouth" has numerous distorted, loose teeth, and its jaw is heavily warped. Where eyes in an eye socket would be is instead empty. This base appearance changes when Pandemonium spots a player, with its two empty eye sockets replaced with glowing white eyes, and a dozen eyes appearing inside its mouth.
Mechanics
Pandemonium acts similarly to Angler and its variants. Pandemonium has a chance to spawn if the run's current or previous room has a valid hiding spot. When Pandemonium spawns, nearby electronics will flicker briefly, and Pandemonium will advance.
Once Pandemonium spots a player, regardless of the distance, it will emit a loud screech and start moving directly toward that player. If Pandemonium manages to make contact, it instantly kills the player. If the player is spotted and in a hiding spot as Pandemonium passes, Pandemonium's minigame will occur instead.
Pandemonium's minigame requires players to keep their cursor in the middle of the screen while Pandemonium attacks the hiding spot; Pandemonium will periodically slam into the locker, knocking players' cursors off the point in the middle of the screen. If a player's cursor is outside the point, they will begin to lose energy. If players run out of energy, Pandemonium will force open the locker and kill them; energy can regained by keeping their cursor on the end or whenever Pandemonium slams. Players who survive Pandemonium's attack long enough will make it leave, ending the minigame.
In more advanced difficulties, the point will move with every slam; a red point also appears that will drain energy if a player's cursor is inside it.
Notes
- Pandemonium will only spawn after room 25, and only spawns once per run.
- Angler and other node monsters can spawn right after a Pandemonium attack.
- Pandemonium will slam into the locker more frequently as it's minigame progresses.
- After Pandemonium’s minigame, the player will not be forced out of their hiding spot, and their Cleithrophobia will reset.
The Ridge
Pandemonium has a higher chance of spawning in the Ridge. Visual cues such as lights flickering will not accompany Pandemonium's spawn in the Ridge. Players have to rely on sound alone to know when Pandemonium is coming. To compensate for this, Pandemonium's sound cues happen earlier while attacking in the Ridge, giving players more time to react.
Strategy
When hiding from Pandemonium, players should not hide too early; otherwise, they will be forced out of their hiding spot due to Cleithrophobia.
Pandemonium uses a ray-casting hitbox to create its line of sight, so hiding in places that cover characters completely (such as office cubicles or separate hallways) will work in evading Pandemonium. Unlike Angler, Pandemonium can deviate from its set path and has a much larger line of sight that ignores translucent objects such as vents or windows, making it harder to hide without using a locker.
